What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager who can do it all! Leading the team through the logistics of getting our amazing products out to our customers. This includes inventory control, transportation, warehousing and team management. You are a hands on “do-er”, and don’t care about getting involved with all aspects from admin to high level decisions. You will be a working team member, providing direct assistance to your team members when required.

What would you be doing?

Our Supply Chain manager is responsible for the coordination, organization, distribution, and storage of materials and products. This includes inventory control, transportation, warehousing and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials. Working with the Warehouse Manager, you will assist in the management of all warehouse staff, ensuring their optimal productivity and accuracy. As well, you will assist the Warehouse manager in optimization of inventory including maximizing the utilization of space, stock locations and usage, returns and cycle counts.

Your measure of success will be the effective management of the entire supply chain cycle to enhance business development, ensure sustainability and maintain an exceptional level of customer service.

Primary Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the management of all Warehouse operations including:
    • Supervising the quality, quantity efficiency of storage and movement of goods
    • Prioritize shipments and work tasks for warehouse staff
    • Provide working support on a daily and as needed basis
  • Manage logistics network and work with 3 rd party providers to ensure on time delivery
  • Analyze logistical challenges, developing and recommending new solutions to efficiently meet business growth efficiently
  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Implement, manage and monitor safety and health procedures
  • Supervise, train and coach your team
  • Implement and support the company’s programs and policies

What skills and qualifications do you need?

  • Flexible collaborative style and approach with an enthusiastic and can-do attitude
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in supply chain management, including team leadership
  • Strong working knowledge of storage, packing and shipping techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize diverse and conflicting tasks
  • Solutions oriented mindset with demonstrated success in problem solving and decision making
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with an ability to delegate and communicate effectively with employees, at all levels
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Desire to thrive in an unstructured and high-growth environment working with some really crazy, but fun people!
This position is based out of our warehouse location at 123 Eastside Drive, Etobicoke, Ontario.
