We are looking for a Counter Manager. We are growing very rapidly and need someone who shares this vision and wants to grow with us!

What would you be doing?

  • Complete counter operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintain counter staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
  • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Manage all operational costs to keep store profitable and inform the managers of any pertinent issues.
  • Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
  • Respond to customer complaints and comments.
  • Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers to identify or resolve urgent issues.

What skills and qualifications do you need?

  • Min 2 years of management experience in the retail/service industry
  • Effective time management, problem solving, and communication skills are essential.
  • Maintaining composure and managerial courage are essential.
  • Effective leader with a focus in training and development.
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a College/University degree is preferred.
