Quality Assurance Project Manager

We are in a period of explosive growth and have need of an experienced project manager who is not afraid to solve problems and deliver solutions. You are flexible and enjoy calming chaos while delivering projects primarily in Quality and other inter-related departments as required.

What would you be doing?

  • Coordinate with Quality team (QA, QC, Audit, Analytical & Engineering) and administer all processes and procedures and ensure compliance to all quality goals 
  • Manage and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, within defined scope, and with agreed-upon specifications to enable the achievement of defined benefits
  • Prepare reports for all projects statistics on monthly basis and analyze all project metric data and provide training to all project members.
  • Create, prioritize, communicate, manage, and execute roadmaps, project plans, and commitments
  • Ensure project processes are applied consistently, including project plans, risk management, resourcing, and communications management
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Implement the appropriate project management methodology depending on the nature of the project
  • Sound knowledge of ISO 22716 and Health Canada Quality Systems and processes, provide training to staff and evaluate all procedures to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Prepare reports for all resource utilization and develop all project estimates, schedules, and coordinate with all stakeholders and participate in meetings.
  • Provide regular feedback on project status to team members and leadership
  • Maintain a thorough understanding and documentation of DECIEM’s business practices and quality processes.
  • Manage all communications with business partners and senior management to achieve all project objectives.
  • Represent the Quality functions at relevant meetings
  • Assist in other projects/duties, as assigned

What skills and qualifications do you need?

  • University Degree or equivalent ins Science or related area
  • 5-7 years in leading project implementation
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager is desirable
  • Project Management Institute, PMP Certification or equivalent
  • Appreciates feedback and constantly strives to improve (never settles)
  • Discipline to be methodical and demonstrates excellent decision making
  • Demonstrates business acumen and understands how to implement/manage change
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing projects with excellent follow through and accuracy
  • Strong change manager with experience driving internal improvement projects successfully
  • Experience in various project development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines in a non-structured work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills (leads self)
  • Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships
  • Willing to challenge behaviors and actions
  • Flexible and open-minded approach
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, MS Project, MS Visio
  • Excellent people, organization, time management and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
