Regulatory Affairs Associate (Compliance Documentation)

Currently we are recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Associate to be responsible for documentation compliance. This person will be an integral member of the Regulatory Team, supporting product/project development by researching, requesting, vetting, and organizing documentation to ensure documentation compliance. This candidate will also be responsible for building the Regulatory online database.

Currently we are recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Associate to be responsible for documentation compliance. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Regulatory Team, supporting product/project development by researching, requesting, vetting, and organizing documentation to ensure documentation compliance. This candidate will also be responsible for building the Regulatory online database.

What would you be doing?

  • Possess excellent documentation practices.
  • Request, vet, and organize documents from vendors.
  • Ensure documents are complete and meet regulatory standards. This includes cosmetic, homecare, natural health product, and drug standards.
  • Develop a procedure to maintain the database with a focus on traceability and efficiency.
  • Build and upload the database to the online portal. - Assist with conducting literature-based research as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Follow and enforce DECIEM policies for workplace safety and conducting regular safety audits

What skills and qualifications do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, toxicology or a related field.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
  • Extremely well organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and documentation programs.
  • Fluent in French or a second language an asset.
