Social Media Manager

We are looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate Social Media Manager to join the DECIEM team. As the social media manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring DECIEM's Social Media strategy in order to grow traffic and increase brand awareness.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate Social Media Manager to join the DECIEM team. As the social media manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring DECIEM's Social Media strategy in order to grow traffic and increase brand awareness. 

What would you be doing?

  • Build and implement a social calendar to ensure frequent on-brand content across DECIEM's social platforms and support for new launches
  • Work with the Social Media Assistant Manager and Design team to develop concepts for engaging, on-brand content
  • Brief design team (and any external teams required) on content direction (providing call sheets where necessary eg: for off-site production)
  • Manage and grow team of Social Media Associates 
  • Maintain and further develop an efficient timetable for community management to maximize response rate across all time zones
  • With the support of the wider social team, monitor and listen to DECIEM's community, and report insights to relevant stakeholders 
  • Provide on-brand copy for both owned and paid digital media 
  • Maintain a tone for voice for DECIEM and individual brand channels (where relevant)
  • Work with the Digital team to manage and analyse audience data 
  • Maintain highest possible security measures for all social accounts
  • Provide digital insight to relevant stakeholders across the business where required
  • Support new retailer partnerships and launches (representing the DECIEM social team on calls and in meetings where relevant)
  • Identify areas for growth across all digital channels 
  • Monitor developments in the digital landscape to identify opportunities for DECIEM
  • Alongside the Digital team - monitor email & social metrics and report digital performance and ideas for growth to relevant stakeholders

What skills and qualifications do you need?

  • Minimum of 2 years social media management experience is essential
  • Must have previous experience with managing a team
  • Excellent copywriting skills and strong understanding of ‘tone of voice’
  • Proven record of content creation
  • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Great leadership skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Bachelor or Diploma preferably in a relevant field
  • Design/photography skills is considered an asset
