We are looking for a Store Manager. We are growing very rapidly and need someone who shares this vision and wants to grow with us!

What would you be doing?

  • Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees (having a fully staffed store regardless of absenteeism/call-outs).
  • Maintain store staff by coaching, counseling and providing constructive feedback.
  • Planning, monitoring and appraising job results, internal schedules for stores.
  • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and feedback to Area Sales Manager Retail.
  • Communicate within 24 hours of any build related concerns.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Manage all operational costs to keep store profitable and inform the Area Sales Manager Retail of any pertinent issues (petty cash, daily banking, store supplies).
  • Manage stock levels with the Assistant Store Manager and make key decisions about stock control.
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
  • Notify Area Sales Manager Retail of any customer complaints and comments (handle any in-person customer complaints).
  • Execute timesheet adjustments in Novatime when needed.
  • Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers to identify or resolve urgent issues.
  • Support HR with hiring decisions, and the corporate retail team in various projects as required.
  • Work with neighborhood and district marketing opportunities and corporate retail team for customer appreciation events.

What skills and qualifications do you need?

  • 2 years of management experience in the retail/service industry.
  • Effective time management, problem solving, and communication skills are essential.
  • Maintaining composure and managerial courage are essential.
  • Effective leader with a focus on training and development.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a College/University degree is preferred.
  • Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
