DECIEM offers a global wellness program, empowering our team with practical support and counselling on a variety of topics.
Our aim was to make our program as accessible as possible for our team, allowing support to be given at a time and location of their choice. This program comes at no cost to our employees, and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year. It includes nine fully funded counselling sessions per year.
HUGS Program - Mental Health Support Program
Our team is given a number of personal days which exceed government standards to be used for mental health, preventative health activities, and to celebrate diverse religious holidays. DECIEM also offers a number of non-statutory, spontaneous holidays to give our team the chance to vote, reflect on current events and issues, and spend time with friends and family.
DECIEM Personal Days and Holidays
At DECIEM, we understand the importance of work-life balance. DECIEM offers a new parental leave policy that surpasses standard legislative entitlements.
DECIEM employees are able to receive up to 6 months of fully paid time off from work for parental leave. In addition, we offer our team a flexible return to work program, to support them further during this transitional period.
This is available to our permanent full-time or permanent part-time employees who are biological, adopting, surrogate, and foster parents of all genders.
DECIEM has always held the belief that learning should be freely available, and that meaningful development is best achieved when our team is encouraged to explore different areas of interest. We wholly encourage our team to harness different skill sets, and to develop at their own pace. For these reasons we implemented Thrive, our Learning Experience Platform.
This platform provides many features, such as regular updates on company-wide information, internal job postings, company-wide achievements, and department updates.
In addition, through Thrive, our global team also has the opportunity to connect with one another. This is achieved through company-wide staff challenges, campaigns, departmental takeovers, team members sharing and posting engaging content, among other exciting initiatives.
Lastly, our Learning & Development team champions and curates an ongoing roster of educational content, including LinkedIn Learning courses, employee wellbeing workshops, and other resources to provide the opportunity to learn new skills on an ongoing basis.
