Our mission is to create a better world of beauty, one where caring for ourselves also means caring for the planet. We're reimagining how our packaging is designed, made and reused; reducing waste while supporting the cleanup of what's already out there. This includes meaningful updates to our packaging process and a new partnership with 4ocean. Read more about them below.

DECIEM X 4ocean: Removing over 1M KG of plastic and waste from our oceans and coastlines.

Since 2017, 4ocean's full-time captains and crews have removed more than 18,000,000 kilograms of plastic and waste from coastlines, rivers, and oceans worldwide. Through our partnership, we have pledged to remove over 1 million kilograms of ocean and ocean-bound plastic by 2028, directly supporting cleanup operations that protect marine ecosystems and coastal communities.

"At Deciem we're constantly working to reduce our impact on the planet. One of the ways we're doing this is by rethinking our packaging to reduce waste and protect marine life. Our partnership with 4ocean helps us go further, lowering our plastic footprint while helping remove what's already polluting our oceans. These small but intentional actions matter for our industry, our planet, and our shared future."

Anika de la Flor, Director of Environmental Sustainability at DECIEM.

Increasing the use of recycled content in our plastic packaging.

In 2021, we set out to produce more sustainable packaging. Today, about 85% of our packaging is made from curb-side recyclable materials and only about 15%* of our packaging is made from plastic.

Increasing the use of PCR and recyclable materials across packaging, alongside our partnership with 4ocean, is central to our broader work of reducing our plastic footprint. We're looking forward to continuing this work and supporting a healthier, more sustainable world for us all.
